# *Dress for the manga you want, not the one you have.* ## Dragon Ball - Chapter Fifteen ### Seed of Might's Kanzenban scan, in English ### Last time? Not satisfied with the current official or fan options for the Dragon Ball manga due to image and translation shortcomings, this is a new effort to combine the incredible new Seed of Might Kanzenban scan with a good English translation. Also, if you've downloaded the chapter releases earlier, you'll want to grab this since all chapters had updates for lines, typesetting, and image quality. ### Image Results The Seed of Might pages remain at the same resolution in lossless PNG format. Each page has a resolution of 3350 by 4940 pixels, or 600dpi. We did straighten a few pages. Some pages were also adjusted for levels and paper grain. This is collected in a standard .cbz which can be unzipped if you want to check each page individually. ### Translation Results Rather than spend too much time creating a new translation from scratch, this project documented the best options from experienced Japanese to English translators, existing Scanlation efforts, and even the Viz manga. Each line was translated or selected to be readable, make sense, keep continuity between lines, and provide a good sense of characterization depending on who is speaking. ### Feedback Willing to learn and fix mistakes. All .psd files are available on our Discord server for modifications. Things that are helpful: 1. State the page and describe the problem you have 2. Point out objective errors (spelling mistakes, missing words, etc.) 3. Identify grossly misleading translations and provide a correction Things that do not help: 1. Saying "This translation is bad" without explaining how a line should be. If you don't have specific lines you can offer advice on, this type of comment is just petty and unhelpful. 2. Subjective translation changes that don't alter the meaning of the line. If a line is "I just ate a bear earlier..." changing it to "Just had a bear the other day..." isn't a meaningful change. ### Thanks #### Referenced Thanks to Seed of Might for the scan and initial transcription resources.
