This has been in the holding chamber waiting to be QC'd for quite some time. I recommend you read my earlier post on my website or nyaa regarding the manga which will give a bit more background to this release. TLDR is that this is the first special that Fuji made adapting the long running manga True Tales Of Terror (ほんとうにあった怖い話). Some of the more recent specials are translated but nobody has tackled the early ones so I thought it would be good to have this archived. In terms of video quality nothing can be done about the bothersome watermark. We are very lucky that the 1999 and 2000 specials were archived via broadcast tape recordings uploaded on Youtube recently. I do not plan on translating every special. However I do plan on uploading the 2000 special soon and the 2004-2005 series is in the works on my end. (Waiting for DVD raws if you have some email me at denliner2000@gmail.com) Eventually I will do a raw release with all the specials I have as well (there are a few missing even now however). Subbing this was a little rough due to how quiet all the audio is but we did the best we could. Enjoy your day everyone as always, see you friday 🙂
