Diverse System stands out as a prominent electronic music label/doujin circle in Japan, primarily specializing in softer genres such as trance, house, and techno. Initially, the circle’s main focus was on remixes inspired by the beatmania games. However, this activity came to an abrupt end in 2010 when the owner received a “happy letter” from KONAMI. This event marked a turning point for the label and its owner, YsK439, who, with no other option, shifted their focus to producing original albums. Subsequently, they began recruiting numerous talented composers from across Japan. As a true pioneer, Diverse System has consistently challenged Japan’s electronic music scene, releasing over 250 full-length albums. This prolific output has contributed significantly to the label’s global popularity.
