The most faithful adaptation for the story that inspired Dragonball, presented in DVD encode with the full cut episodes. No longer do you have to use the inferior YouTube subs, nor are the full cut episodes locked away. These come directly from the official dvd, which depending on your region is completely out of the question or far more expensive. Also much of season 1 has multi language dubs, make sure to select the "original mandarin" to watch the show as it originally aired 🙂 One last thing on this release, it does NOT include the very illusive behind the scenes footage from the VHS release, if anyone has that please email me at denliner2000@gmail.com. I have yet to even find physical evidence of these tapes lol. A contact of mine with family in China was VERY strong in her opinion that she saw them as a child, however her family had thrown them away sadly. **EDIT:** While there is an HDTV airing, this show was shot in SD, so the HD airing wasn't much better quality wise. In addition, the HD airing has a bunch of huge watermarks all over it curtesy of the TV station. I think the HD release may also be the cut-down/edited versions of the episodes, though don't quote me on that. For watching this series in full this, is the best way, at least for now.
