Thanks for this undertaking. Just finished a two year rewatch of the anime, so I guess it's time to start the manga again XD. I'll give it a read and get back to you with feedback.

Amazing! I don't have any knowledge of what the Japanese says, but this reads very naturally and feels right. And the typesetting is just about perfect. I don't know how granular you want to get, (and these are all issues I'd totally see in a professional release), but here's what I noticed: - page 17, I realized you have commas and periods outside of quotation marks. These go inside. There are probably other instances. - page 20, panel 1. Need comma for "staying here will be boring, right" - page 27, panel 3, it's "a while" instead of "awhile" because it's a direct object. On a general note, I'd love to see something done about the sound effects. Even just (BOOM) applied over it. I bet the Viz volumes could supply translations. And please consider packing in a downscaled version. I get that this is meant to be a definitive archival release, but let's face it: everybody reads manga on their phones now. Something smaller might encourage participation. In any case, great work and thanks again!

What you're missing about Tracksuit is that they've been transparent about redoing the early portion. Go look at the later volumes instead. You'll quickly find that HAO and the various other fan offerings are overly literal and decline in quality very quickly over time which is why nobody really entertains them. I'm also not sure how you could possibly prefer a smoothed mess of an upscale over what Tracksuit are using. Neither are ideal but at least the lines aren't fucked in theirs.

@zman The quotation mark thing is a stylistic choice that primarily depends on dialect (punctuation usually goes inside in American English, but outside in British English). It also depends on the context (e.g. whether the quotation is of someone's statement, to introduce a term, scare quotes, etc.).

@-___- i'd prefer if neither used up-scaling and we just got the raw colored manga with a English translation but yea Tracksuit's does look better there in my opinion
